Employees, contractors, consultants, and partners are required to sign Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to safeguard the company’s intellectual property.

4. Client Projects and Research

  1. Client Ownership: When DSCHOLAR RESEARCH CONSULTANCY AND ANALYTICS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED works on any project or research on behalf of clients, the intellectual property rights related to the project or research will be transferred to the clients upon completion of the services rendered. This ensures that the clients retain full ownership and control over the IP created specifically for them.
  2. Agreement Terms: Specific terms and conditions regarding the transfer of IP rights to clients will be detailed in the contractual/ consultancy agreements between DSCHOLAR RESEARCH CONSULTANCY AND ANALYTICS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED and the clients. 5. Respecting Third-Party IP

  1. Compliance: We are committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others. 6. Inventions and Innovations

  1. Disclosure:  Employees, contractors, consultants, and partners are required to promptly disclose any inventions, discoveries, or innovations made during the course of their work with the company. This includes any new processes, products, or technologies that may have commercial or strategic value.
  2. Assignment: All rights to any inventions, discoveries, or innovations made during the course of employment or engagement with the company must be assigned to DSCHOLAR RESEARCH CONSULTANCY AND ANALYTICS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. Appropriate agreements will be executed to formalize the assignment of these rights.

7. Trademarks and Branding

  1. Use of Trademarks: The company’s trademarks, logos, and branding materials are valuable assets. Unauthorized use of the company’s trademarks and branding materials is strictly prohibited. Any use of these materials must be approved by the company’s management.
  2. Protection: We will take all necessary steps to protect our trademarks and branding materials from unauthorized use or infringement. This includes registering trademarks and taking legal action against any unauthorized use or infringement.

8. IP Infringement

  1. Reporting:  Employees, contractors, consultants, and partners must promptly report any suspected IP infringement or unauthorized use of the company’s intellectual property to management.
  2. Enforcement: The company will take appropriate legal action to enforce its intellectual property rights and protect its assets. This includes seeking injunctions, damages, and other remedies available under the law.

This policy is reviewed periodically and updated as necessary to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
